Our At-Home Treatment’s strength may be modified with time and heat, so for soft results you leave it on for less and no heat or for the strongest results you let it work for 60 min and add even heat. So regardless of how frizzy, dry or damaged your hair may be, this is what you need, for a more manageable, healthy and smooth hair, one worthy of a mermaid! WARNING: if you have 75% or more GRAY/WHITE hair and your style is to show it instead of covering it up with hair color, then this treatment may stain your beautiful silver hair style. PLEASE CONSIDER USING OUR KERATIN TREATMENT INSTEAD.

1) Use our CLARIFYING SHAMPOO to cleanse your hair thoroughly. If you use a lot of styling aids, hair oils or serum, wash your hair 2-3 times. Please don’t skip this step.
2) Do a quick blow dry to get the hair to least 90% dry before applying the SUNSHINE STATE OF HAIR ZERO FRIZZ TREATMENT. Your hair should not feel damp.
3) Use the included applicator cap to swap out the cap on the TREATMENT bottle.
4) For easier application, you may separate the hair into four quadrants. Using the applicator cap, dispense the product directly onto the hair. Use the gloves provided so you don’t ruin your manicure and apply same way you would apply a hair color. The most important part of this step is for you to apply it evenly throughout the hair, using a wide-tooth comb to help spread the product. Just like with hair color, it’s better to oversaturate.
5) Allow the product to process on the hair, from 30 to 60 minutes depending on how resistant the hair is and on how smooth you wish the results to be. To simply loosen curls, leave it on for less time, using no heat; and for maximum smoothing results you may add the use of a self-heating cap to the processing time. Please check our website for more detailed information on how to choose the best processing time that fit best to your type of hair and desired results.
6) Using only WATER, fully rinse your hair until the water runs clear and you don’t feel any more product being rinsed out.
7) Towel dry your hair, and then apply our SEALING LEAVE IN SPRAY all throughout your hair. Blow dry the hair until it is 100% dry. For straight results, be sure to use a brush to help you with the blow out. If you want to keep your curls, do not straighten your hair with a brush in this step.
8) Flat iron small sections of your hair with the temperature between 390-450° F, depending on your hair type, doing at least 8 passes for each section. Make sure to use small sections. If you use large sections, not all of the hair strands will receive the same amount of heat. DO NOT OVERWORK THE ENDS!
9) Wait until at least the following day before washing the hair with the included SULFATE FREE SHAMPOO and CONDITIONER. We recommend washing your hair on the 2nd day for best results.
